The mechanical Defrost Timer is now replaced with a Electronic Defrost Timer.

There are two Service kits available depending on the position where the Timer is fitted.

Both timers within the Service Kits are the same, the only difference being the Outer cover.

 

SERVICE KIT POSITION A (Part Number 4903790100). 

If the defrost timer is located on the rear underside of the cabinet

(Left hand side of the compressor). 

Service Kit number 4903790100 should be used. 

These appliances will be manufactured prior to Oct 2006. 

Therefore the serial number should be up to 06 XXXXXXXX 09 

(06 being the year, 2006, and 09 is the month, Sept).  

              

SERVICE KIT POSITION B (Part Number 4903790200). 

If the defrost timer is fixed to the rear wall of the cabinet

(Again to the left hand side of the compressor)

Service Kit 4903790200 should be used.

These appliances will be manufactured from Oct 2006.

Therefore the serial numbers should be from 06 xxxxxx 10)
